Handloom Handicraft Exporters Welfare Association (HHEWA) was established in 2018 as an Apex Body of exporters, manufacturers, merchandisers, not for profit, under Companies Act duly sponsored by the Exporters Association of India has recently declared Handloom and Handmade products industry under Priority Sector. HHEWA works closely with the Government of India on policy formulation concerning the silk sector and provides specialized services to the trade, commerce and industry, enlarging global business opportunities for the Handmade Products industry in India.
Explore markets and identifies items offering export potential by conducting market surveys.
Establish contacts with the perspective buyers to generate their interest in Indian textiles products.
Sponsor trade delegation, study teams and sales teams to various market abroad.
Organize Buyer Seller Meets for its member exporters.
Organize Silk fairs and exhibition in India
Participate in trade fairs and exhibitions abroad.
Resolve trade disputes.
Launch generic promotion of textile products from India.
Organize Workshops/Seminars on various trade and policy related issues.
Any exporter of Handloom and Handicrafts/Handmade products can become an Member of the Handloom Handicraft Exporters Welfare Association. As member, you will be entitled to receive all benefits from the Association as announced by the Government of India from time to time including participation in the subsidized and general annual export promotion activities of the Association.
